The three-match ODI series between Pakistan and Australia begins today in Rawalpindi and by playing this match Pakistan team will become the third team in the world to play 1000 ODI matches.

If we look at the record played between the two teams, so far 111 one-day international matches have been played between the two teams, in total Pakistan won 36 one-day matches and Australia won 71 one-day matches.
The Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium previously hosted an ODI match between Pakistan and Australia in 1994.
The first ODI of the series between the teams of the two countries will be played at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium today at 4:30 pm. Pakistan will be led by Shaheen Shah Afridi and Australia will be led by Josh Ingles.
