Report: Soheyl Imran. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has increased the annual fee of the divisional teams by issuing a notification on the ministry’s new cricket policy.
According to the sources, many departments are worried about the annual salary increase and have expressed their concern that the salary used to be 3 million, last year it was 5 million and now it has become 1.5 million which is more.
Sources of the ministry say that all the expenses are on the side of the departments. The annual salary increase for the departments is hopeless.
According to sources in the department, the players are paid reasonable fees, it is not appropriate to fix the limit as it will be an additional burden with the annual fee.
According to the announcement given by the PCB, the annual fee of the first class team of the ministry is 1.5 billion, while the annual fee of the second class gold team is 42 thousand and for the silver team 40 thousand.
According to the statement, the PCB has also set a minimum limit for the monthly salary of the players.
According to the policy made by the PCB, it has been imposed for the departments to pay a minimum of Rs.
As per the new policy, Rs 75,000 per month for grade 2 gold and Rs 50,000 per month for silver has been imposed, while it will be mandatory for the agencies to sign a one-year contract with the players.
The PCB has also published a policy regarding the President’s Class First Class, President’s Trophy One Day and President’s Trophy in Gold and Silver Second Class.
According to this policy, the match salary for the first level is 10,000, the reserve is 5,000 and the daily salary is 5,000.
An important divisional cricket meeting has been called by the PCB on June 29, where decisions regarding divisional cricket will be discussed.
According to the PCB, it will be mandatory for the departments to bear all the expenses and payment of the annual fee for participation in the division crit has been made mandatory by July 15.
It is worth mentioning that the PCB has banned payment of match fee, daily allowance and contract amount to the players in cash and the payment will be made through bank.
Divisional cricket will be held in Islamabad, Rawalpindi and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa while PCB will provide hotel list to divisions.
