England have dropped captain Ben Stokes from the second Test for indiscipline.
It should be noted that Ben Stokes is facing investigation for violating the team’s curfew.
Gus Atkinson has also been dropped from the squad for the second Test match of the series against New Zealand starting on Wednesday.
The England Cricket Board (ECB) says Joe Root has been named England captain for the Oval Test against New Zealand.
According to the ECB, Jofra Archer and Jordan Cox were included in the squad for the second match.
