Unbeaten Peshawar Zalmi team defeated Quetta Gladiators in the 23rd match of Pakistan Super League (PSL). Zalmi opened the way for the play-off with this victory.
In this match played at the National Bank Stadium, Karachi, Peshawar Zalmi also decided to field by winning the first toss, where the Quetta Gladiators team led by 154 runs in the allotted 20 overs.
Hasan Nawaz was the most famous batsman by scoring 37 runs and 35 balls. Among the other batsmen, Riley Russo, who played his 100th PSL match, scored 26 runs, Khawaja Nafee scored 20 runs, captain Saud Shakeel scored 16 runs, Tom Curran scored 15 runs and youngster Shamal Hussain scored 12 runs.

Peshawar Zalmi achieved the target of 155 runs for the loss of 2 wickets only in the 19th over. Captain Babar Azam scored 71 runs as he scored his 100th half-century in T20 cricket.
