Babar Azam’s condolences on the death of Sir Gary Sobers

Pakistan Test team captain Babar Azam has expressed his deep sorrow and grief over the death of the great West Indian all-rounder Sir Garfield Sobers.

In his condolence message on X, Babar Azam said that Sir Garfield Sobers not only played cricket but also showed what is possible in the game. Cricket has lost one of its greatest players.

Babar Ezam said that many generations have learned from the skill of Sir Garfield Sobers and the future generations will also learn, my condolences to his family and the people of West India.

It is worth mentioning that Sir Gary Sobers is considered one of the greatest all-rounders in the history of cricket and past and present critics, cricket boards and cricket fans from all over the world are paying tribute to him on his death.

Be aware that the all-time legendary West Indian batsman Sir Garfield Sobers aka Gary Sobers has passed away at the age of 89. The world cricket great was the first player to hit six sixes in first-class cricket, he also held the record for the highest individual innings in Test cricket during his tenure.

Sir Gary Sobers represented the West Indies in 93 Tests during his long international career and scored 8,032 runs at an impressive average of 57.78. He also scored 26 centuries during his career. He also took 235 wickets with his magical bowling.
