Australia defeated England to win the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup for the seventh time.

Australia won the 2026 Women’s T20 World Cup after defeating England in the one-sided final.

Chasing a target of 151 runs, Australia won in 17.2 overs to remain unbeaten in the tournament and win another world title.

Australia’s Beth Mooney scored a half-century and was also named player of the match.

Earlier, England’s batting was controlled by the Australian bowlers from the start. England captain Nate Seaver-Brent scored 58 runs off 53 balls as the team failed to build a big total and reached 150 for four in 20 overs.

Skipper Nate Sioux-Burnt put on 44 runs with Freya Kemp, after four players were dismissed for 70 runs, Sioux-Brunt and Freya Kemp put on an 80-run partnership for the fifth wicket.
