Report: Soheyl Imran. The 84th meeting of the PCB Board of Directors was held under the chairmanship of the Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) in which the supplementary budget for the new financial year 2026-27 was unanimously approved.
The BOG meeting approved the increase in match fee for the national cricket team players and also approved the form and payment mechanism of the new central contract.
In this meeting, the budget of PSL 12 was also approved and the independence of PSL was also approved from the administrative and financial point of view.
In the BOG meeting, an increase of one billion rupees was approved in the internal budget, and it was also decided to increase the budget from 3 billion dollars to 4 billion rupees.
In this meeting, the match fee for the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy players was significantly increased and according to that decision it was approved to increase the salary of the players from 30 thousand rupees to 1 thousand rupees, it was decided to increase the salary of the players from 15 thousand rupees to 50 thousand rupees.
In the meeting of the Board of Directors of PCB chaired by the President, approval was given to organize Women’s Day and T20 tournaments and allocation in this regard.
In the meeting, it was decided that the minimum salary of the ground staff of the region will be 42 thousand Tumen, 12 other positions will be employed and money will be allocated for human resources.
In the BOG meeting, the allocation of funds of 6 billion 70 billion rupees was approved for the renovation of the National Bank Cricket Stadium Karachi and other infrastructure, while the allocation of funds was also approved for the installation of biomechanics machines at the High Performance Center in Lahore.
