PARIS: There was a big upset at the French Open, as world number one Yank Sinner crashed out of the event after a shock second-round defeat.
The senior suffered after taking the lead in the race and then failed to maintain his form.
Argentina’s Juan Manuel Cerundolo was declared the winner in the 5-set match, Yank Sner won the first 2 sets 6-3, 6-2.
The world number one was leading 1-5 in the third set when he called for medical assistance.
