In the second ODI match, Sri Lanka Women’s Team defeated Pakistan Women’s Team by 8 wickets to level the series.
Batting first in the second ODI played in Hambantota, Pakistan, he scored 273 runs for 5 wickets, Sadaf Shamish scored 12 runs and Gulfroza scored 27 runs.
Sidra Emin and Ayesha Tefer strengthened the position of the team, Sidra Amin scored a century with 11 fours from 120 balls, Ayisha Zafer scored 49 runs and Munibe Ali scored 45 runs. Thus, Pakistan scored 273 runs for five wickets in the allotted 50 overs.
In reply, the Sri Lankan women’s team did not get off to a good start, with captain Chamari Atapattu out for one run, followed by Vashmi Gunaratne and Harshita Samara Wickrama’s 203-run second wicket partnership to bring the team closer to victory.
Vashmigunaratne scored 123 runs which included sixes and 11 fours, Harshita Wickrama scored an unbeaten 100 runs, Sri Lanka Women’s Team reached their target in 47th place.
The three-match ODI series is tied at one-one, with the third and deciding ODI of the series to be played in Dambulla on July 31.
