Khalid Mehmood, the head coach of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) team Noakhali Express, stormed off the field during a training session at Sylhet Stadium due to lack of facilities.

According to the report of the Cricket website, Khalid Mehmud pointed out that the proper training facilities were not provided and the practice balls were too few and he left the stadium sitting with his assistant coach Talha Zubair.

According to this report, when the head coach of Noxali Express, Khalid Mehmud, arrived at the stadium, he had only a few practice balls and the two coaches immediately left the stadium.

In the report, it is said that Khalid Mehmud, when he spoke to the media, said that I cannot work in BPL under these conditions, I have never seen this before in BPL.

He also said that they will not continue with Noakhali Express. Several team workers tried to convince him to return and assured him that such a mistake would not be repeated in the future, but Khalid Mehmood did not immediately change his attitude.

According to this report, Khalid Mahmud later returned to the stadium and called the incident a misunderstanding and said, “Maybe I overreacted at that time, they didn’t give me the necessary equipment and facilities during training and my anger got out of control.”

It is worth mentioning that the Bangladesh Premier League starts from today with its opening match between Sylhet Strikers and Rajasthan Warriors.
