Indian cricket team players Jasprit Bumrah and Rishabh Pant have apologized for allegedly calling South African captain Temba Bavuma a dwarf during the Test series.
There was a huge uproar on social media after the incident, but the International Cricket Council did not take any disciplinary action against the Indian players.
Bumrah’s highly inappropriate comment on Tamba Bavuma, possible ban?
Temba Bavuma said he was aware that the Indian players had said something about him in their own language, but later two senior players came to him and apologized.
According to Bavuma, when he was apologised, he was not aware of the real issue at the time, which he later confirmed with his team’s media manager.
