Many new records were set in the match between Brisbane Heat and Perth Scorchers in the Australian Big Bash League.

According to reports, Brisbane Heat defeated Perth Scorchers by 8 wickets and set many records.

When the Brisbane Heat won and invited the Perth Scorchers to bat first, their decision began to look flawed and defeat was evident.

Perth Scorchers made a mountain of 257 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 20 separate overs. Finn Allen scored 79 runs and Cooper Connolly scored 77 runs.

In reply, Brisbane Heat achieved the target of 258 runs for the loss of just 2 wickets on the fifth ball of the last over of the match.

This is the highest in Big Bash League history and the third highest in T20Is.

Jack Wildermuth remained unbeaten on 110 runs and Matt Runshaw scored 102 runs.

This is the first time in the history of the Australian Big Bash League that 2 centuries have been scored in one innings.

The two players also made the biggest partnership of 212 runs in the history of Big Bash League.

Apart from this, the record of maximum six in a match was also set.
