Pakistan is scheduled to tour Sri Lanka in January 2026 for three T20 matches.

According to the information, the matches between Pakistan and Sri Lanka will be played on January 7, 9 and 11 in preparation for the T20 World Cup 2026.

However, some players including Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi, Hasan Ali and Haris Rauf who are part of Pakistan T20 team are playing in BBL these days.

In such a situation, the chief executive of Cricket Australia, Todd Greenberg, says that the Pakistani players have been assured to play the full season of the Big Bash League (BBL).

Todd Greenberg while talking about the Pakistani players participating in the BBL and the tour of Pakistan said that we have been told that the players who have signed contracts in the BBL will play the entire season.

He said that the tour of Pakistan for the T20 series will be as per the schedule. The dates of the T20 series will be announced later.
