West Indies beat Pakistan by 90 runs in the first Test.
In the ongoing match at the Brian Lara Cricket Stadium in Truba, the West Indies players blasted Pakistan’s batting line-up. Chasing 211 runs, the national team collapsed for 120 runs.
On behalf of the National Team, captain Babar Azam scored 58 not out. Among other players, Muhammad Abbas 23, Muhammad Rizwan 11, Khurram Shahzad 4, Shan Masood 3, Azan Oweys 3, Imamul Haqi 3, Ali Usman 2, Amir Jamal and Salman Akha were also left without scoring a goal.
Jaden Sales dismissed 5 players for West Indies. Justin Graves and Kemar Roach took 2, 2 and Shamar Joseph 1 wicket.
Earlier on the fourth day, the home team started the game with 126 runs and 7 wickets and the whole team returned to the pavilion with a lead of 210 runs for 181 runs.
Kemar Roach and Shemar Joseph put on a partnership of 61 runs for the eighth wicket. Both scored 18 and 38 runs respectively. Jumel Warikin struck out 14 while Jaden Sales didn’t strike out 6.
Muhammad Abbas took 5 wickets for Pakistan. Khurram Shahzad and Muhammad Ali scored 2, 2 and Amir Jamal scored 1.
