On the third day of the first test at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy, Pakistan started their first innings with 199 for 3 in reply of 311 runs, but none of the batsmen except Shaan Masood could play a big game and the entire team was bowled out for 282 runs.
Shan Masood scored 109 runs, Salman Ali Akha 20, Khurram Shahzad 19, Muhammad Rizwan 12, Amir Jamal 3 and Ali Usman left without scoring and Muhammad Abbas could not score any runs.
On behalf of West Indies, Justin Greaves took 5 wickets while bowling carefully.
West Indies, who started the second innings with a lead of 29 runs, faced difficulties early on and lost 4 wickets for just 43 runs. Later, Teja Narayan Chandrapal was bowled for 35, Justin Graves for 20 and captain Ruston Chase for 5 runs.
At the end of the third day’s play, West Indies have scored 126 runs for 7 wickets and have a total lead of 155 runs over Pakistan. Şemar Yusiv is on foot with 22 and Kemar Roach with 5 runs.
On behalf of Pakistan Muhammad Abbas took 3 wickets, Khurram Shahzad also took a wicket and on the fourth day the visiting team will try to get the remaining wickets of West Indies quickly and limit the target.
