The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the National Champions Trophy 2026-27 schedule and the squads of the four teams. The ODI tournament will be played from August 11 to 18 at the Multan Cricket Stadium, including the final, a total of seven matches will be played. All day and night matches will start at 15:00.
According to the PCB, the tournament will be the start of preparations for the new domestic season and the ICC Men’s World Cup 2027. The National Selection Committee has announced 11, 11 member squads for four teams and 13 reserve players who can be included in case of injury.
Pakistan Green, Pakistan Gold, Pakistan White and Pakistan Blue will participate in the tournament. Shadab Khan, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Saim Ayyub and Sahibzada Farhan will lead their teams and Ejaz Jr., Misbah-ul-Haq, Iqbal Imam and Aizaz Cheema will be the main coaches.
Abdul Samad, Haider Ali, Muaz Sedeqat and Muhammad Nawaz are in Shahin Shah Afrini’s team, and Arafat Minhas, Hasan Ali, Shamal Hussain, Sufyan Muqim and Hussain Talat are also famous players in Sahibzada Farhan’s team.
Ali Raza, Haris Rauf, Hasan Nawaz, Khushdil Shah, Wasim Jr and Usman Khan will play under the leadership of Sayem Ayyub and Shadab Khan’s team includes Fakhar Zaman, Muhammad Hassanin, Salman Mirza, Naseem Shah and Samir Minhas.
PCB’s Chief Performance Officer Aqib Javed says it is the board’s priority to provide maximum ODI opportunities to the players so that preparation for World Cup 2027 can be done effectively.
