Anum Uzair, an adventurer who made her mark in mountaineering and trail running, has crossed another milestone by winning the first 100 km Guliyat Mountain Ultra marathon held in Pakistan.
Anum Uzair achieved exceptional performance in this challenging race full of challenging mountain trails, dense forests, natural and environmental hazards.
Anam Uzeyr spoke to Geo News and said that I dedicate this victory to all the women of Pakistan, especially women runners.
He expressed his determination that in the future also I will shine the name of Pakistan on the world stage by accepting unique and tougher challenges.
Anam Uzeyr said that it is not an easy task. I had an idea of the difficulties that would be faced, there is the risk of lightning because there is a snow storm in the mountains, whether it is the mountain or the Goliath route there are dangers but the danger of wild life here increased.
He said that earlier I did a test run of 40 km for practice, at that time I saw a leopard sitting on my track at a distance of two hundred feet, after that I was not afraid, the fear disappeared from my mind, I was no longer afraid.
Anum Uzeir said I train daily, fitness is a must for everyone whether you want to compete or not, make fitness training a lifestyle.
He also said that I have a tough challenge in mind for the future and I will do it for Pakistan.
