In the under-19 Asia Cup, Pakistan will take on the UAE on Tuesday for board practice, last day Bangladesh and Sri Lanka reached the semi-finals, Afghanistan was eliminated.
According to reports, the interesting matches of the U-19 Asian Cup are continuing in the UAE. The Pakistan team, which lost against India in the last match, will play against the UAE on Tuesday.
The Blue team will take on Malaysia in yesterday’s Group B eighth match, where the Nepalese team bowled out 130 runs in 31.1 overs against Bangladesh.
The batting line-up in Dubai looked strained against the opposition from the start, opener Sahil Patel scored 18 runs and Niraj Kumar Yadav scored 14 runs, Abhishek Tiwari scored 30 runs in the middle order and Ashish Lohar scored 23 runs.
Muhammed Saboj took 3 wickets while bowling well, Saad Islam, Eziz El Hakeem and Shahryar Ahmed took 2 wickets each.
In pursuit of the target, the Bangladesh team started with confidence, Zawad Abrar scored 70 runs off 68 unbeaten balls, Kalam Siddiqi played 34 runs, the team reached their target by 3 wickets in 24.5 overs.
In the second match against Sri Lanka, the Afghanistan team became the first with 235 runs, Usman Sadat 52 runs, Azizullah 31, Nuristan Omarzai 29, captain Mehbub Khan and Uzairullah won with 25 and 25 runs.
Saitmika and Dlanath took three wickets each as Sri Lanka lost their target by 8 wickets in reply and took 4 balls earlier.
Viren Chamudita 62 runs, Chamika remained unbeaten on 51 runs, Koija Gamaji 34 runs, Nooristan Umerzai dismissed three bowlers.
In the competition, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka reached the semi-finals, but Afghanistan was also eliminated from the competition.
