In the first semi-final match of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Spain beat France 0-2 to reach the final.
In the sensational match played in Dalles, the Spanish team dominated France from the beginning and managed to win because of their strong strategy.
Spain’s first goal was scored by Ouirzabal from the penalty spot in the 24th minute, and then Pedro Poro scored his team’s first goal in the 58th minute.
With the victory, Spain returned to the World Cup finals after 16 years. Spain last played in the final in 2010 and became world champions. This will be Spain’s second World Cup final in history.
On the other hand, the French team could not fulfill their dream of playing the World Cup final for the third time in a row and their journey ended in the semi-finals.
Now the second semi-final of the 2026 World Cup will be played between Argentina and England, and the winner will play Spain in the final.
