Speaking on the occasion of the training session at the Punjab Stadium in Lahore, Faiqa Riaz said that everyone knows that the Joint Games have been held for a long time and the players also know who will represent Pakistan.
Faiqa Riaz says, in this hot weather we come to train outside the house every day which causes difficulties, the training affects it, on the other hand when the Indian team is training for the Joint Games in Europe and they are competing, we are not going to the camps and we are not given the chance to participate in the competitions, when all these are not done, how will we perform according to the international standards.
Olympic athlete Faiqa Riaz said that my preparation for the Joint Games continues from the National Games. All the activities I participated in after the National Games were part of my preparations. My individual performance in the Asian Beach Games was good. I will try to do my best in the 100m at the Commonwealth Games. That’s the goal.
