Report: Feyzan Lakhani. The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has announced the removal of Brendon McCullum as Test coach from New Zealand.
The ECB said in a statement that McCullum will continue to coach in the white-ball format.
England and Wales Cricket Board chief executive Richard Gould says it’s time for a change in the Test team as they aim to win the Ashes.
It is worth remembering that Brendon McCullum has been the head coach of the England Test team for 4 years.
In his statement, Brendon McCullum says that he is sad to part with the coaching of the Test team, now the full focus will be on the white ball teams.
On the other hand, England also announced that the search process for the new Test captain is starting.
