A private meeting of Indian cricket star Virat Kohli in London unexpectedly hit the headlines when pictures taken without his permission went viral on social media.
According to foreign media, Royal Challengers Bengaluru teammate and England batsman Jordan Cox told a British newspaper that last month he met Virat Kohli at a cafe in London where the two discussed the crisis, stress and Kohli’s career in detail.
According to Jordan Cox, no one bothered him during the meeting, but after a few hours, Virat Kohli sent him a message asking him if he had seen the pictures of the meeting that were circulating on social media.
Cox said that Virat Kohli wants to keep his private life out of the public eye and wants to spend his time in peace like a normal person, but his fame does not always make this possible.
He praised Virat Kohli’s personality and said that the most impressive aspect of playing with him was that he took time to mentor the younger players.
Jordan Cox said that many great players only focus on their own performance but Virat Kohli makes it his priority to help others and that is what makes him unique.
It must be noted that Virat Kohli has been living a low-key public life after his retirement from T20 International and Test cricket. He spends most of his time in London with his wife Anushka Sharma and children.
