The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to withdraw Test captain Shan Masood from the post of International Cricket and Player Affairs Advisor.

Sources say that the PCB had verbally offered Shan Masood as a consultant in October, but now it may withdraw the offer.

Sources say that Shan Masood’s trial participation is the reason behind the withdrawal of the draft as it was difficult for Shaan Masood to consult with the cricketer.

According to sources, Pakistan will play an important series in the World Test Championship next year and Shan Masood’s Cricket career is more important, so PCB is likely to withdraw the offer.

Shaun Masood joined the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy after the series against South Africa and then played in the ODI President’s Cup before heading to the US for the PSL tourney.
