Report: Atiqur Rehman. The foreign coaches of the Pakistan hockey team took up their duties when they arrived in Pakistan.

Australian fitness coach David Dyer, goalkeeper coach Bob Veldof, sports psychologist Chris Bowen trained Pakistan Junior Hockey Team players at the Naseer Banda Hockey Stadium this morning.

During the three-hour training session of the national hockey players, the foreign coaches evaluated the condition of the players, and the foreign coaches will evaluate the benefit and performance of the players during the training session of the Pakistan hockey team in Syria.

On the other hand, the names of 26 potential players have been announced for the preparation of the World Cup, who are training in Islamabad from this evening.

Among the 26 players called for the camp are Sufyan Khan and Hanan Shahid who will join the Pakistan team camp after recovering from their injuries.

Both Sufyan Khan and Hanan Shahid say that the first goal is to take their team to the semi-finals in the World Cup.

Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) President Muhyiddin Wani says the appointment of foreign coaches is the beginning of a new era for Pakistan Hockey. The World Cup will start from August 15 in Holland and Belgium.
