India’s third defeat in a row gives England a decisive lead

England defeated the Indian team in the fourth T20I and took a decisive lead in the 5-match series.

In the fourth T20 match played in Bristol, England, India won and decided to bat first, but apart from Indian captain Shreyas Iyer, none of the Indian batsmen could face the English bowlers.

Team India scored 158 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in the allotted 20 overs, skipper Shreyas Iyer scoring 80 runs from 49 balls.

On behalf of the English team, fast bowlers Jofra Archer and Josh Ting picked up two wickets each, while Will Jack and Adil Rashid took a wicket each.

In pursuit of the target, the English team won the 14th over by 1 wicket. Phil Salt scored 59 and Harry Brooke played an unbeaten 79 and Jos Buttler played 8 runs.

Remember that England have a commanding lead of 3 nil in the 5 match series. In the third T20, the Indian team was bowled out for just 76 runs to chase down a target of 201 runs.
