The International Cricket Council (ICC) has asked the England and Wales Cricket Board for an explanation on Ben Stokes’ retirement video.
The ICC says the video of Ben Stokes’ retirement speech in the dressing room before the end of the Test match was released.
The ICC said that broadcasting the audio and video of the dressing room during the match was a violation of ICC rules.
According to the ICC, the ECB violated the rules by releasing the dressing room footage and video.
It is worth noting that Ben Stokes gave his retirement speech to the players before the start of the game and according to the ICC, the video recorded in the dressing room will not be released before the end of the match.
