The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released the test batsman rankings, according to which no Pakistani batsman is included in the top 10 test batsmen.
Australia’s Travis Head is the top-ranked player in the ICC Player Rankings, while England’s Harry Brooke and Joe Root are ranked second and third respectively.
Australia’s Steve Smith is fourth and South Africa’s Temba Bwama is fifth in the rankings of Test batsmen published by the ICC.
After the last test series against West Indies and Sri Lanka, there is an improvement in the ranking of the players of both the teams.
Sri Lanka’s Kamindu Mendes rose to 6th place by 2 places, Justin Greaves from West India rose to 49th place by 14 places and Shai Hope rose to 51st place by 6 places.
In the list, Pakistan’s Mohammad Rizwan is in 18th place, captain Babar Azam is in 19th place and former test captain Shan Masood is in 44th place.
