Argentina defeated Egypt 2-3 in the FIFA World Cup

Defending champions Argentina played their first ever knockout stage match at the FIFA World Cup, knocking Egypt out of the competition.

This match played at the Atlanta stadium in the United States was very interesting, where Messi, led by Mohamed Salah, entered the field to defeat Argentina’s dream of winning the World Cup once again.

Egypt played aggressively from the beginning of the match and attacked Argentina’s goal.

The African team won their first victory in the 15th minute of the match when Yasir Ibrahim put the ball into the net and his team took a 0-1 lead.

But after that, in the 21st minute of the game, due to a mistake by the Egyptian player, Argentina got a chance to take a penalty, but superstar Lionel Messi’s shot was stopped by the Egyptian goalkeeper and not only Argentina, but the whole world was surprised.

Egypt won the match and Mustafa Dziko gave his team a 0-2 lead in the 67th.

In a situation where Egypt’s victory seemed easy, Argentina made a brilliant comeback and scored 2 goals in 4 minutes and the match was tied 2-2. Romero scored in the 79th minute and Lionel Messi scored in the 83rd minute.

Enzo Fernandes of Argentina scored another goal in the last minutes of stoppage time and recorded the score 2-3 and the match ended with the same score.

With this victory, the Argentinian team enters the quarter finals, where they will face the winner of the Swiss and Colombian competition.
