Report: Soheyl Imran. The ICC Women’s T20 World Cup squad for the tournament has been announced, Pakistan captain Fatima Sana has also been included in the squad.
The team features four players from the successful Australian women’s team, with Sophie Melinekes named as captain, but also Beth Mooney, Elise Perry and Ashley Gardner.
Pakistan’s Fatima Sana was also included in the ICC Team of the Tournament.
The ICC Team of the Tournament consists of England’s Danny White, Nate Skewer-Brent, South Africa’s Marizan Kapp, Ireland’s Orla Prendergast, India’s Shri Charney and Sri Lanka’s Nilakshika Silva.
Scotland’s Darcy Carter was added as the 12th player.
