In the PCB programme, Babar Azam said that it is always an honor for me to captain Pakistan, I have learned from past experiences, this time I will lead with better planning and positive thinking.
The national cricketer said that with time comes maturity and clarity in captaincy, as a captain I have evaluated my decisions and tried to learn from them, I try to support young players in difficult times, international cricket is a pressure game.
Babar Azam says I am trying to reduce the pressure on the youngsters by talking to them, my focus is on discipline, fitness and performance, there will be no compromise on them, NCA red ball camp was very important for the team.
He said that training in tough conditions makes the players stronger, the camp worked on dealing with match pressure and different situations, West Indies tour will be tough but we have prepared for it, many players have experience of county cricket, it will help in England.
