In the final of the Women’s T20 World Cup, Australia became champions for the seventh time after defeating England by 7 wickets.
In the final played at Lord’s, Australia scored 151 runs for 3 wickets in 17.1 overs.
Beth Moone scored 64 runs for the Kangaroos. Other batsmen were Phoebe Litchfield 48 and Georgia Wall 9.
Elise Perry scored 13 and Ashley Gardner 3 to return to the unbeaten pavilion.
Charlie Dean, Sophie Ecclestone and Lorraine Bell took 1 wicket each for England.
Earlier, England scored 150 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in the allotted 20 overs and took the first step on the invitation to Australia.
