The Pakistan Cricket Board has announced the 16-man national squad for the tour of West Indies and England, with Babar Azam named as the captain of the Test team.
Election Committee member Aqeeb Javid announced the national test group while holding a press conference in Lahore.
Pakistan’s 16-member squad will include captain Babar Azam, Shan Masood, Imamul Haq, Azhan Owais, Abdullah Fazal, Salman Ali Akha, Ghazi Ghori and Muhammad Rizwan.
Sajid Khan, Ali Usman, Amir Jamal, Muhammad Ali, Muhammad Abbas, Obed Shah, Oweys Zafar and Khurram Shahzad are also included.
Pakistan team will play two Test matches against West Indies, Test series with West Indies will be played from 25th July to 6th August.
The Pakistan team will play three Test matches against England, the Test series against England will be played from August 19 to September 13.
A 16-member squad for the West Indies series and a 17-member squad for the England series have been announced.
Saud Shakeel has been named as the 17th player for the England series, Saud Shakeel’s inclusion will be subject to fitness.
