FIFA World Cup: Egypt head coach hails victory over Palestine

Egypt defeated Australia 2-4 in the FIFA World Cup on penalties to win the knockout stage for the first time.

The match between the two teams was 1-1 at the end of regular time and extra time, and then penalties were decided.

Hussam Abdul Majid scored the decisive goal in penalties, but Australia’s Harry Souter and Lucas Harrington missed their penalties.

After the victory, Egyptian President Hussam Hassan called this historic victory in the name of the Palestinian people and said that they pray to Almighty God to grant victory to the Palestinians and shower his mercy on the martyrs.
