Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) has urged its members to come to the stadium to watch the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Final on Sunday.

It should be noted that the MCC wants to avoid the situation in 2017 when the stands were empty when England won.

According to the cricket website, MCC chief executive Robert Lawson has written to club members urging them to attend the Women’s World Cup T20 final at Lord’s on Sunday.

The letter states that whether the England team qualify for the final or not, come to watch the final as it is good for the club’s reputation that members come to Lord’s to watch the match.

It is worth remembering that in the letter, the members are requested that if they do not come, then inform them first so that the best solution can be found for the vacant seats.

It is worth remembering that in 2017, England won the Women’s World Cup final, and on the occasion of the final, around 24,000 spectators were present on the ground and the members’ place was empty, and due to the empty seats of the members, MCC was criticized.

The final of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup will be played at the historic Lord’s ground on Sunday. Australia have already advanced to the final, while the other finalist team will be determined today after the semi-final between England and South Africa.
