In the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Morocco (Morocco) advanced to the round of 16 after defeating the Netherlands in a penalty shoot-out.

The match between Holland and Morocco was 1-1 in the Round of 32 match played at Stade Stadium.

In the second half of the game, Cody Gekpo scored the first goal for the Netherlands, but in injury time, Maroko overcame his nerves and scored a goal that sent the match to penalties.

Many goals were scored in the penalty shootout between Morocco and the Netherlands, but Ismail Sabri of Morocco scored the decisive goal in the last chance and his team won 3-2 and advanced to the next round.

The win earned Morocco a place in the pre-quarterfinals, where they will face Canada on July 4 in Houston.
