The head coach of the Irish cricket team, Henrik Mullan, has resigned.
According to Cricket Ireland, Henrik Mullan has been the captain of the national team for the last four years.
Cricket Ireland says his contract was extended earlier this year until early 2027, but he has decided to step down before the end of the period.
Under the coaching of Henrik Mullan, Ireland achieved many memorable victories, including a T20 series whitewash against India.
Henrik Mullan said in his statement, “It has been an honor to work with the players, the coaching staff and the Irish cricket family.
He said that we have achieved many historical achievements in this field, which I am proud of.
It is worth mentioning that recently in the 2 match T20 series against India, Ireland defeated the visitors by 34 runs in the first match and by 1 run in the second match.
