The captain of the hockey team apologized for the disappointing performance of the national hockey team in the Pro Hockey League.
Captain Imad Butt, in his statement on social media, spoke openly about the team’s performance and said that the results in the Pro Hockey League were not encouraging, and apologized to the entire nation. Thank you all for your support, who are still with us and understand our struggle.
He said that as players it is not easy to sleep with the burden of breaking on the chest, we tried to give the best performance to the best of our ability. They say champions are not born, champions are made.
The captain of the national team said that we did our best but we have to increase our capacity to compete with the best teams in the world. Our federation and government should play their role. Now is the time for action, not the time for reaction.
Imad Butt says, despite the criticism, I will continue my speech, I will do what I can for the players.
“You see our results, but you don’t see the long training process of players from other countries,” he said. They prepare their players for a long time, we often have to wait for the training camp to be announced before the tournament.
The captain does not complain about the hockey team, he demands the improvement of the hockey and the development of the players.
