Another controversial decision against Iran in the 2026 FIFA World Cup raised questions about the transparency of the event.

After scoring the goal, the Iranian players cheered with great enthusiasm and the whole stadium was excited.

Moments later, however, the joy of the Iranian players turned to sadness when the goal was disallowed by the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) for offside.
Social media users shared videos and photos of the moment, protesting against VAR’s decision.
In the videos, it can be seen that the Iranian player was compared to the Egyptian player who was given offside, another Egyptian player was slightly ahead of him.
FIFA either stole the match or manipulated it for Egypt or against Iran. Now I understand why VAR exists – to allow FIFA to manipulate match results. Can someone explain this to me?
