Report: Soheyl Imran. The Pakistan Super League (PSL) is witnessing a significant rise in popularity across the globe, while foreign players now find PSL a safer and better option than the Indian Premier League (IPL).
The famous English cricketer David Willey said in an interview given to the Indian media that the security arrangements of the players in the PSL are better than in the IPL.
He said that many players are in a state of uncertainty in the IPL auction as it is not known how the auction will go.
According to David Wiley, PSL not only has strong security, but players also get regular guarantees of playing.
He also said that some players feel that in the PSL they get more opportunities to play more matches instead of sitting on the bench for 10 or 11 weeks.
Under the same trend, former South Africa captain Faf du Plessis and England all-rounder Moeen Ali have already announced to quit IPL and play PSL.
In addition, Australia’s star all-rounder Glenn Maxwell has also announced that he will not play in the IPL this year, while there are rumors about his participation in the PSL.
