Brazil boss Carlo Ancelotti has announced the good news that star forward Neymar is set to return for the final Group C match against Scotland at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Neymar, 34, has been out of the squad since suffering a foot injury in mid-May, which ruled him out of the first leg against Morocco and the second group game against Haiti.
Carlo Ancelotti spoke to the media after Brazil’s 3-0 win over Haiti in Philadelphia and said Neymar’s recovery is progressing positively.
He said Neymar will train individually tomorrow, then start training with the team on Monday and be ready for the match against Scotland.
It is worth mentioning that Neymar has been unable to represent the Brazilian national team since October 2023 and has been working on a full recovery from his injury in recent weeks.
Brazil, on the other hand, started their World Cup campaign with a 1-1 draw against Morocco, but produced a strong performance against Haiti to win 3-0.
