The German team had to go through tough security and immigration procedures on their way to Toronto ahead of their crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup match against Ivory Coast.

According to reports, the German players faced all the standard security checks, baggage checks and customs checks like normal passengers.

Team members were not given special concessions but had to go through a rigorous process in accordance with North American border laws and airport regulations.

In a viral video on social media, the plane can be seen parked on the side of the runway and searched for criminals before the German team boarded it.

Meanwhile, Germany’s veteran goalkeeper Manuel Neuer’s comments became the focus of attention.

In photos and videos, she appeared both amused and somewhat nervous about the long and rigorous audition process, which viewers expressed mixed opinions about.

After the incident, questions are being asked on social media about whether world-famous athletes and international teams need to go through the same strict and time-consuming security checks or whether they should be given special facilities.

However, authorities maintain that border and safety rules apply equally to all to maintain safety standards.
