Report: Soheyl Imran. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has prepared a fee proposal for Central Contracts 2026-27.

The Pakistan Cricket Board has announced major changes in central contracts and has decided that central contracts will be awarded under A, B, C and D channels.

Track A and B will see Test and ODI cricketers get central contracts while Track B and C will include ODI and T20 players, Track C will only include T20 cricketers while Track D will include development and academy cricketers.

Track A players will become Red Ball Specialists. According to sources, the PCB has come up with a plan to pay Rs 40 lakh per month to crisis players.

Those in tracks A and B may be paid Rs 48 to 50 lakh per month, players in track AB will earn more than Rs 5 crore per year, Track AB includes Test and ODI cricketers.

In track B and C, Rs 18 lakh per month will be paid by the central contract, white ball players are included in track BC.

Track C players are likely to be paid Rs 12 to 15 lakh per month, Track C will include professional T20 players.

According to sources, Track D players are likely to be paid up to Rs 10 lakh per month, Track D will also include development and NCA players.

According to the sources, the salary of the players included in the central contract will be different. 15 lakh per Test match, 7.5 lakh for ODI and 5 lakh for T20 may be Rs.

According to sources, it is proposed to give players 500% match fee bonus for winning ICC event and 300% match fee bonus for winning ACC event.

Apart from the central contract, the players will also be able to earn money from the league cricket, depending on the rules, the players will be allowed to play the league cricket.
