India beat Pakistan by 64 runs in Women’s T20 World Cup.

Pakistan team chased down 171 runs in the match played in Birmingham and scored 106 runs in 17 overs.

Muniba Ali scored 41 runs for Pakistan. Alia Riaz 18, Ayesha Zafar 12, Gul Faroza 12, Natalia Parvez 7, Nashra Sindhu 4, Ramin Shamim 4, Saira Jabeen 2, Tasmia Rabab and captain Fatima Sana were out without scoring a goal.

Deepti Sharma took 5 wickets for India. Shri Charani 3 and Shafali Verma dismissed 1 player.

Earlier, the Indian team won the match and scored 170 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.

Smriti Mandhana scored 68 runs for India. Captain Harmanpreet Kaur came out with individual points of 36, Richa Ghosh 34, Shafali Verma 6, Bharti Fulmali 1 and Jemima Rodriguez 1.

Deepti Sharma scored 12 and Shreyanka Patil scored 1 to return to the unbeaten pavilion.

For Pakistan, Fatima Sana and Sadia Iqbal took 2 wickets each. Ramin Shamim took 1 wicket and Tasmia Rebab took 1 wicket.
