Argentina has once again become the world’s number one football team in the new FIFA World Rankings published ahead of the start of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

According to the latest FIFA rankings for June 2026, Argentina has been ranked in the world for the first time since July 2025.

In the ranking, Spain remains in the second place, while France has dropped two places to the third place.

On the other hand, Morocco has achieved the best ranking in history and entered the seventh place. Morocco has now become the highest ranked team in the African and Arab countries, with the Netherlands dropping one place to eighth.

The Pakistan football team was also among the teams that showed significant progress. Pakistan moved from 202 to 198 by four runs.

According to FIFA, this global ranking will also be used as a guide in the group stage of the World Cup.

The next FIFA World Series will be broadcast on July 20, 2026.
