In the third leg of the Maldives Jubilee Football Tournament, Pakistan qualified for the final after defeating Afghanistan.
This is the second consecutive win for the national team in this home tournament where Pakistan beat Afghanistan 0-2.
On behalf of the national team, Umer Nawaz scored the first goal in the fifth minute and Harun Hamid scored the second goal in injury time.
It is worth mentioning that the Pakistan team is undefeated in the tournament so far, the first match of the national team was a draw against Bangladesh and in the second match they beat the host Maldives by 0-3.
