The women’s swimming competition of the 35th National Games in Karachi has concluded with the women of the army winning the overall crown with 12 gold medals with their impressive performances.
The Shengal team won the second place with 4 gold medals and the women swimmers of WAPDA won three gold medals.
Army’s Jahan Araya Nabi won gold medals in five individual and three team events and won the title of best female swimmer.
Harim Malik of Sinjar won two gold medals on the final day of the women’s swimming competition and played a major role in her team’s overall success.
