Report: Feyzan Lakhani. The teams of all 48 teams for the FIFA World Cup 2026 have participated in this competition with a total of 1248 players.

Co-hosted by the United States, Mexico and Canada, this tournament is the first soccer World Cup to feature 48 teams.

The 48 teams participating in the tournament have been divided into 12 groups and each group consists of 4 teams and a total of 104 matches will be played.

The squads of all 48 teams for the 2026 FIFA World Cup have been finalized. A total of 1,248 players will participate in the event, making it the biggest FIFA World Cup tournament in history.

357 players have already played in the FIFA World Cup and 891 players will play for the first time.

Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Guillermo Ochoa are all set to play their sixth World Cup. 4 countries Cape Verde, Curaçao, Jordan and Uzbekistan participate in the World Cup for the first time.

The youngest player in FIFA World Cup 2026 is 17 years old and the oldest player is 43 years old.

7 players over 40 years old and 22 players under 20 years old are participating in the event. The world’s biggest sporting event, the FIFA World Cup will begin on June 12.
