Report: Soheyl Imran. Several proposals were approved at the International Cricket Council (ICC) board meeting. Expressing its dismay at the growing cricket franchise, the board suspended Canada’s membership while approving the qualification route for the 2028 Women’s T20 World Cup.

According to the statement in this regard, in the board meetings held in Ahmedabad, India, the board approved several recommendations of the Board of Directors.

According to the statement, the use of the pink ball in the Test matches has been accepted on a trial basis with the consent of both teams.

The ICC says the pink ball is used to enhance play in bad light.

In the meeting, the qualification route for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2028 was approved.

According to ICC, Pakistan is hosting the Women’s T20 World Cup 2028, India’s matches in the event will be played at neutral venues.

The Cricket Board says that the break during the T20 matches has been reduced to 15 minutes.

According to the ICC, the Women’s Champions Cup 2027 will be held between February 14-28 instead of June and July.

According to the announcement, 10 teams will participate in the ICC Emerging Nations Trophy 2026, including 5 Associates and 5 Member Teams.

The statement also said that the Board approved the Men’s T20 World Cup Global Competition.

The ICC board has suspended Cricket Canada’s membership. The Cricket Council says Cricket Canada’s membership has been suspended for serious violations. Despite the suspension, the Canadian cricket team will continue to participate in ICC events.

According to the statement, a two-member ICC delegation will visit Bangladesh, the delegation will hold meetings with various stakeholders and will also review the selection process of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB).

The ICC board has expressed its dismay at the growing cricket franchise. The board decided to form a committee regarding the criticism of the franchise. The committee will examine the balance between the international calendar and French criticism in the current structure.
