Pakistan’s Nauman Khan became the Asian Youth U-17 champion by defeating his Indian rival, Ahmed Ryan Khalil won the Asian Youth U-15 title.
Mahnoor Ali won silver medal in U-15 girls final, 33rd Asian Youth Squash Championship 2026 Pakistan won 2 gold, 1 silver and 3 bronze medals.
According to the reports received, in the finals of the under-17 boys’ championship held in Panzhihua, China, Nauman Khan won the gold medal after 40 minutes of the match with a score of 1-3 1-3.
In the under-15 boys’ final, top scorer Ahmed Ryan Khalil easily defeated Malaysia’s Dhuran Rothi Ran 0-3 to become the Asian Youth Champion, a match that lasted 29 minutes.
In the final of the girls under-15 event, 4th seed Mah Noor Ali lost easily to Xie Yuan of China, Mah Noor Ali had to settle for the silver medal 3-0 in 23 minutes.
It is worth remembering that last year Mah Noor Ali won the silver medal in the final game of girls under 13 years of age in the Asian boys championship, Pakistan won a total of 5 medals in the 33rd Asian boys individual competition, which were 2 gold medals, 1 silver medal and 3 bronze medals.
Pakistan’s Sohail Adnan won the bronze medal after being restricted to the U15 boys’ bronze medal in the semi-finals and Muhammad Umar Arif, who lost to his compatriot Nauman Khan, won the bronze medal by entering the semi-finals.
In the championship, team captain (retd) Irfan Asghar was the team manager and former world famous player Faheem Gul was the head coach.
