Report: Soheyl Imran. Pakistan hockey team captain Imad Shakeel Butt and defender Sufyan Khan blamed the astroturf of the National Hockey Stadium in Lahore for the speed of the players.

According to the players, less use of the Lahore net is the reason for the lack of speed of the players, the speed in the pro-leg will improve.

Pakistan Hockey Team Camp for Pro League is underway at National Hockey Stadium. The camp was attended by players selected for the Pro League.

In a speech to the media, captain Imad Shakeel Butt and defender Sufyan Khan told the media that we have also heard comments about reducing the speed of the players.

Imad Butt said that the speed of the players has not decreased, their speed has decreased due to less use of the turf.

He said that this is the only ground where the ball spins a lot and the pace is slow, while playing in a foreign country, the pace will improve.

Sufyan Khan said that the Islamabad astroturf is almost similar to the European ones, there was no speed problem, but here the speed has decreased due to the turf and the reason for this is the non-use of this turf.
